DVI HDMI Cables

DVI-I to VGA Result: - Use DVI-A to VGA Cable

This is a highly common situation and is the main reason the DDWG came up with a DVI analog standard. Your source device AND your display device both make use of analog video transmissions. Thus, all you will need to connect these two devices together is a DVI-A to VGA / SVGA Cable. If you want to use the superior digital format you would need to replace the VGA device with one that is capable of DVI-I or DVI-D transmissions. These are the cables you may need and some adapters you may find useful for your application.
