Both your source device AND your display device communicate via a digital format, however, DFP to M1 (P&D, EVC) cables are very rare unless ordered custom. This connection will not be as simple as some others, although not as difficult as say an analog to digital conversion. There will be two cables involved in this setup, or the combination of one adapter and one cable, although there are many ways this could be set up. Of the cables needed is a DVI-D to DFP-20 cable and a DVI-D to M1-D cable, which you will have to chain together. Here we are using the DVI interface as a common ground between DFP and EVC. At least one of the cables must have a female DVI connector, it does not matter which. These are the cables you may need and some adapters you may find useful for your application.
