DVI HDMI Cables
DVI cables are available in three flavors which each have their own specific application. DVI-A (Analog Video), DVI-D (Digital Video) and DVI-I (Integrated Analog/Digital Video) comprise the three different types of DVI Cables. While this may seem quite confusing it is actually rather simple to select the right cable. DVI-A Technology

DVI-A Cables and Adapters make use of Analog Technology by connecting analog sources (Usually PC Video Cads) to Analog devices (Usually CRT Monitors). Please take a second to look at the differences in the pin configurations between DVI-A, DVI-D and DVI-I.
DVI-D Technology

DVI-D Interface
DVI-D Cables and Adapters make use of Digital Technology by connecting Digital sources (DVD Players, Cable boxes, PC Video Cards this list is almost endless) to Digital devices (Usually Digital/Flat Panel Monitors, HDTV's). Please take a second to look at the differences in the pin configurations between DVI-A, DVI-D and DVI-I.
DVI-I Technology

DVI-I Interface
DVI-I Cables and Adapters make use of Digital & Analog Technology by connecting Digital & Analog Capable sources to Digital & Analog Capable devices. Please take a second to look at the differences in the pin configurations between DVI-A, DVI-D and DVI-I.
